Broadening audience diversity.

Our public art projects are rooted in a commitment to broadening diversity and expanding audience reach by actively involving communities at every stage of the creative process. Through inclusive workshops and open engagement in design development, we invite people of different backgrounds, ages, and experiences to contribute their voices and perspectives. The resulting works are intentionally interactive, encouraging curiosity, play, and participation, so that art becomes not just something to observe, but something to experience together—fostering connection, representation, and a shared sense of ownership in public space.

The Dengineers.

Tony working with young people on the BBC design show

Through appearances on BBC’s The Dengineers and by creating content for radio, we reach new and diverse audiences, encouraging people to embrace creativity and better understand the design process. Alongside this media work, we collaborate with theatre outreach programmes and community groups, allowing us to connect with a wide range of people, build meaningful relationships, and ensure our creative practice remains accessible, relevant, and inclusive.

BBC’s The Dengineers inspires young audiences to explore creativity, problem-solving, and design by transforming imaginative ideas into real-world builds.
