We are experienced at working in natural environments and wildlife-rich areas, approaching each project with care, sensitivity, and respect for its surroundings. We regularly collaborate with environmental specialists and conservationists, and are accustomed to commissioning and responding to ecological and wildlife surveys to inform our designs. By using appropriate, sustainable materials and carefully considered construction methods, we ensure our work enhances these settings while minimising impact and protecting the habitats that make them special.

Extreme conditions.

We have experience installing work in extreme and challenging conditions, from creating a pop-up restaurant on a frozen river in Canada at -30°C to installing wind chimes in remote areas of Northumberland. These projects require careful planning, adaptability, and a deep understanding of each site’s unique context. In every case, we work with great respect for the environment, ensuring our processes and materials minimise impact and respond sensitively to the landscape.

Heathy Hedgerow.

Highlighting the importance of biodiversity in Wakefield

Healthy Hedgerow.

The Healthy Hedgerow is a collaborative project celebrating art, nature, and community, with the Flower Crown as a central installation. Situated at Sandal Castle for Wakefield’s Our Year, the artwork was designed to respect local wildlife and endure high winds. The tree planting component enriches the historic hedgerow, supports wildlife, and encourages people to connect with nature.
